Integration partnerships for SaaS: how to find and structure them

An integration partner is a product your customers already use, connected to yours in a way that makes both more valuable. The best ones become a durable source of customers because every shared user is a reason to recommend you. Here is how to find them and set them up without a partnerships team.

Start from shared customers, not from logos

The strongest integration partners serve the same customer profile from a different angle — the helpdesk your support-automation buyers already run, the CLM your contract-AI buyers already own. On B2B.ID, a company's "best for" and "integrates with" fields make this overlap visible before anyone talks.

Make fit legible before you ask

Your own B2B ID should already state your customer profile, your existing integrations and that you are looking for integration partners. A Request Partnership that arrives from a B2B ID with that context gets read; a cold email asking to "explore synergies" does not.

Propose something specific

Name the workflow the integration would enable, which customers would use it and what each side would do. A concrete proposal — even a small one — is easier to say yes to than an open-ended partnership conversation.

Agree the practical terms yourselves

Who builds and maintains what, how the integration is listed on each side, how support is handled, whether there is co-marketing. B2B.ID gives you the structured request and the shared context; the commercial and technical terms are agreed directly between the two companies.

Make the integration part of your identity

Once live, add it to the integrations field on your B2B ID. Every future business that filters by that tool now sees you — and your partner has a precise reason to recommend you.
